I could start by listing all the strengths of our small team, but to us it is just standard that our professional drivers are all Swiss and well-educated, multi-lingual guides. To have a comprehensive knowledge of Switzerland and our neighboring countries, their history, culture, and traditions is an absolute requirement in our profession just as much as a good general education, polite manners, and the readiness to provide first class service.

Air-/Rail-Transportation

Please note: SwissSafari will not handle air transportation, but your driver/guide will take care of you from the moment you arrive in Switzerland/Europe!

We don’t provide railway tours but will gladly include scenic train trips and boat cruises into your program or assist you with seat reservations in night trains or fast speed trains.

Reservations/Payments

The booking of a tour package will only follow after you agree with a program/offer. At this stage you will receive a registration form which should be completed, signed and returned to SwissSafari. A booking is binding.

Payments are only accepted by wire transfer. We don’t accept credit card payments because of the high fees and because of the frauds. More information on the reservation and payment conditions are to read in our contractual conditions and will be sent to you with the offer.

is a very safe country with a high standard of living. For the traveler it offers an immense variety of sightseeing, culture, history and regional attractions. The beautiful landscapes and the unique high alpine mountain areas invite to be visited in all seasons. is a small Swiss tour company which is distinguished by its high standards, individuality and friendliness. We are a registered tour company with a license for professional passenger transportation within Switzerland and the EU countries. We are a member of TaxiSuisse, ASTAG, Swiss Tourism, Bern Tourism and TCS.

SwissSafari is specialized in customized and chauffeur-driven holidays in Switzerland and Europe. All our tours are taken in comfortable vans or mini buses with personal chauffeur/tour guide. We work with individual travelers and small groups and arrange tours for both - corporate travel and leisure passenger.

Travel Agencies like to work with us because we are all Swiss, based in Switzerland and we know Switzerland inside out. We are flexible and a reliable and experienced business partner.

We offer for our clients a full service with hotel bookings, personal chauffeur/guide, sightseeing and event planning.

Foundation

The idea of founding the SwissSafari tour company came when I came back home from one of my many trips to abroad.
Switzerland is a beautiful country but there has not been a supplier for customized and chauffeur driven travel.

My website had appeared the first time on the internet platform in the year 2002 – SwissSafari was a one-man company. Two years and many happy clients later I had founded the SwissSafari – Individual Touring GmbH. And now, a small team of some enthusiastic Swiss is driving for SwissSafari great tours with our valued guests.

My business philosophy

SwissSafari - small but excellent!

My goal is not to commercialize the tours too much, but to keep my business small and excellent for that I can offer to my guests an individual and personal care and the best value and service that can be rendered on a tour.
The SwissSafari-Team is composed of Swiss drivers and guides and we know our country, its’ culture and the places of interest very well. We all can provide to our guests a flexible and individual trip. With our friendliness and hospitality we want to make our guests feel at home and to be one of us!

Because we have only a small number of drivers/guides our booking calendar is often full in the main travel season and it may happen, that I am not able to take more guests! If this should happen to you I hope of your understanding that I don’t want to enlarge the team and I appreciate early bookings to guarantee a tour!

My emphasis is always in quality; I do not claim SwissSafari to be the cheapest, but prefer to offer excellent value for money for those travelers wanting that “extra something” and a memorable, wonderful tour.

SwissSafari - offers unique services in Switzerland!

No other tour company is a first class tour provider and is offering entire but customized holiday packages (hotels arrangements, events, private chauffeur, personal guide, etc., sorry, no air fares) from one source. Also unique is the special attention that I take in choosing the right accommodation (I visit all Hotels which I offer) and in personalizing the programs - even on tour. No other company or travel agency makes short term program changes upon your request or according to the weather. We do! We want the best for our guests!
